We had a banana, strawberry, blueberry, pomegranate smoothie for breakfast, a Spicy V8 with lemon juice for lunch, and a pineapple, strawberry, and coconut milk smoothie for dinner. We went for a walk after dinner and went to bed early. I woke this morning without a headache. It's sunny out, but rain is in the forecast, so we are going for a walk this morning.

Juice Journey - Day 2
Day 2 was a much better experience. My headache was minimal, but my hunger pangs were HUGE. I found it very difficult to concentrate. I couldn't seem to stay on one task for more than 30 minutes before my hunger distracted me from the task at hand. I can really see how hunger effects how a kid is able (or not able) to learn in a classroom. If I didn't know that I was putting myself through this on purpose, I might think I was going a little crazy, and a kid might not have the vocabulary to express any of this... a teacher with a hungry kid in the classroom has a tough day ahead of them... If I was in that situation, I think I'd start packing apples and bananas into every desk drawer.
